At St Paul’s, we understand that our faith is rooted first and foremost in a real encounter with the living God. In all our services and celebrations we seek to meet with God, through the Lord Jesus, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Of course, we also know that everyone is different and that we meet with God in different ways. Therefore we provide a number of worship services and celebrations which are varied in style to enable people of different backgrounds and experience to worship the Lord in ways they find most helpful.

Below is a list of the worship services we provide.

ON SUNDAY

10:30am Morning Celebration

This is the main gathering of our church family on a Sunday, and is suitable for all ages. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the worship informal in style, incorporating both grand traditional hymns and modern worship music. There is an important focus on teaching and preaching, and space is made for personal encounter with God. The service usually lasts around 50 minutes.

Whereas the feel of this service is always similar, we enjoy a repeating rhythm of events on the different Sundays through the month. For example, on the first Sunday of the month, we welcome in local families bringing their children for baptism, and the second Sunday is normally a service of Holy Communion. On the other Sundays we enjoy a family service, where people of all ages learn to worship Jesus together.

Our  young people have their own service later in the day.  For more information Click Here.

ON WEDNESDAY

10:30am Midweek Communion

On Wednesday we meet to worship together and share Holy Communion. Between 10 and 10:30, people gather to catch up with each other over a cuppa, and at 10:30 the service starts. The service is structured yet warm and relaxed in feel, and space is always made to properly engage with God’s Word and respond in prayer. The service normally finishes before 11:15am.

A hearing loop is in operation at all our services, and there is a toilet.
